Steve’s Bio
Steve is a juggler of interests. Give him a call at any time and you may catch him skiing, sailing, swimming, swing dancing, or, a safe bet, jumping off things. It routinely reaches the point at which Steve’s dad will phone Donovan just to find out what city Steve is in. He is a man who lives for experience; gobbling up knowledge wherever it may be found.
Steve Nagy met Donovan Deschner in High School in Calgary, Canada, but once graduation passed, he bid a partial adieu to his Albertan home and homeboy and sped to Vancouver to study philosophy at the University of British Columbia. A year later he found himself trekking in Sicily on the tail end of a backpacking trip through central Europe. This voyage would spark his love affair with travel. The travel bug so corrupted him that within ten months of returning to Vancouver to act at the prestigious Studio 58 Theatre School, he had dropped out, aspiring instead to start a bike touring company in Luxembourg. He ended up in China. But this change of events could not have been more prodigious. For four-and-a-half months he and an eager Dutch travel companion motorcycled across China, Tibet, and Nepal. The lands, the people, the challenges engorged each moment with seemingly tangible beauty.
Steve has since returned to Canada and gorged himself on a degree in Psychology and Religious Studies at McGill University in Montreal. Now, fresh out of the education circuit, Steve will stop at nothing to explore the hidden facets of the world, his best friend at his side. And he intends to make Donovan realize that the poorest situations are the realest and most resounding.
